With more than 1000 percent growth since 2018, LegionellaDossier is the Netherlands’ leading digital water safety solution. We recently launched internationally by expanding to the UK and, over the next 5 years, our ambition is to become the global market leader.
Since the company was founded in 2015, LegionellaDossier has strived to be the best at everything we do; whether creating new products, establishing a positive company culture, or providing services to our clients. We are a close-knit team with over 30 professionals based in Utrecht and we expect to double in size in the upcoming year.
As our head of sales, you will be responsible for setting up our sales organization in 5 new countries over the next 2 years, as well as coordinating successful operations in our 2 existing markets.

Your responsibilities
Building our sales international team from 3-30 in 3 years (and do direct control and switch that to country leads with budget responsibility)
Setting up (hire) commercial teams in the new countries we enter, together with our in-house /outsourced recruitment team.
Facilitating and leading by example; you’ll help our colleagues become better at their jobs with sales tactics and great content
Improving the way we sell our products.
To be successful in this role, you’ll:
Have a similar experience and be able to hit the ground running! We don’t have to teach you how to build a high-performing SaaS sales organization, you tell us! We’ll probably enter the first country within 4 months from your starting date.
Know your way around an extensive (SaaS/software) product; preferably you have experience in a reseller-driven sales environment
Have the ability/understanding to match the way organizations work right now to the way organizations are going to work with us and explain (/convince) them that they won’t lose any competitive advantage.
Have strong negotiation skills, not only on budget but also on letting potential clients understand that a new way of working brings opportunity and new business models for the long run.
Know how to find the things that make our organization and people successful and share them through the organization (to the team, and as in-/through- and output KPI’s to management).

Job requirements
Experience in B2B sales
Experience in building an international sales organization nearly from scratch
Experience with budget (P&L) responsibility for yourself and the know-how to introduce this to the country leads.
Experience with reporting on progress/outlooks: Find the relevant conversion points/KPI and create forecasts that are >90% accurate
Affinity with putting technology to work for the team
Experience in hiring
Experience in performance management
Experience in Business Development (preferably 5+ years)
Technical affinity would be a bonus
So would being able to speak multiple languages
Fluent English is a must!
Basic German, French, and/or Spanish is nice to have!
