Your Impact:

Handshake is hiring a Head of Sales Recruiting reporting to the Director of Recruiting on the Talent team. In this role you will drive Sales Recruiting efforts by leading a team of Recruiters, building cross functional partnerships with key stakeholders in the hiring process, and ensuring that the recruiting team their hiring targets to grow Handshake!

This is a leadership role where you will have the opportunity to directly impact our company level objectives! As Handshake continues to grow, you will have opportunities to build out your team, impact various Talent/People team projects and grow your skills as a Recruiting Leader!

Your Role:

  • Lead the Sales Recruiters and ensure team hit's their annual hiring targets
  • Keep track of recruiting team's metrics, progress against goals, and ensure team stays in line with agreed upon SLA's
  • Partner closely and regularly with functional leaders, hiring managers, and necessary stakeholders
  • Advise hiring managers and leaders on recruiting processes, interviewing techniques and closing strategies
  • Provide recruiters with guidance on recruiting strategies and best practices
  • Coach, provide feedback, and work closely with your Director on creating development plans for respective recruiters
  • Work closely with RLT (Recruiting Leadership Team) on implementing strategies, processes, and change management
  • Hold a small req load when necessary
  • Ensure Handshake's values remain at the forefront of everything we do

Your Experience:

  • Previous experience managing/leading a team of Recruiters
  • Experience partnering closely with Senior Leadership
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Prior experience training and onboarding Recruiters
  • Experience supporting a GTM org as a Recruiting Manager
  • Experience working for a rapid growth technology company
  • Working knowledge of an ATS and sourcing tool

Bonus Areas of Expertise:

  • Experience using Greenhouse and Gem
  • Experience recruiting for a SaaS GTM org
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

  • 401k: We care about your ability to save for your future. Launching Spring 2022, Handshake will offer a dollar-for-dollar match on 1% of deferred salary, up to a maximum of $1,200 per year.
