We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Sales team for SRx in North America. The incumbent will be responsible for leading a sales force for our injectables business and will maintain successful relationships across all major accounts. The Head Sales - SRx will have overall responsibility of identifying opportunities and growing accounts through direct / indirect agreements. The role will be remotely based and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer for North America

Responsibilities:


Market Intelligence:

Network with individuals from different customer and industry partners; gather information continuously on regulatory requirements, customer behavior, demand patterns, competitive landscape, market trends ; attend industry trade shows and conferences to identify trends, serve as a "market expert" to internal and external customers.

Sales Planning:

  • Review sales figures and volumes expected from future launch products; provides inputs to Marketing teams
  • Establish sales numbers for each product, account, region based on market share projections; Reviews sales plans to increase sales volumes of existing products
  • Gather requirements from customers and provides recommendation on contract updates and ensures contract finalization
  • Gather requirements from customers on volumes, quality, packaging, delivery and works on pricing, rebates and timelines; Manages relationship with customers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction and understands their business plan and requirements; updates forecasting accordingly; organize meetings with appropriate stakeholders when strategic opportunities are identified

Relationship Management:

  • Key interface between different teams internally and at customer organizations; constant interaction to seek inputs, feedback and establish long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing customers
  • Attend business planning meetings, seminars and vendor summits arranged by customers; reviews customer scorecards and gathers feedback on different parameters
  • Identify areas of improvement and discusses with teams
  • Evaluate existing capacities and demand needs
  • Gather inputs on product launch landscape, volumes, packaging and order requirements and shares information appropriately; Finalizes product launch pricing and market share for all targeted accounts

Dispute Resolution:

  • Provide inputs when required to Finance team for defining credit limits and assist in following up with customers in case of outstanding receivables to ensure payments are received on time

Team Management:

  • Recruit and retain talent by ensuring goals are set and performance evaluated
  • Provide coaching & mentoring as required; provide training to team members on new processes when required

Qualifications / Skills:

  • A degree in Business Administration/Communication with at least 10 years of experience with 5 years of National Accounts experience
  • Broad understanding of marketing and finance; thorough understanding of the generics industry: customers, competition, regulatory requirements
  • Understanding of customer contracts & supply chain planning
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and should have led team of injectables sales force
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); presentation skills

Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of U.S. or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
