Heidi Scribe transcribes consultations to generate clinical notes, documents and next-step actions. 

We’ve  raised our $10M Series A led by Australia's largest VC firm, Blackbird Ventures and we have an ambitious global go-to-market strategy starting with the US & UK. Therefore we’re hiring an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to support our VP Finance.

What you’ll do:

• Partner closely with the VP Finance and  the Founders on key strategies and ensuring the financial integrity of the company.

• Lead all financial activities - forecasts, budgets, reporting, long-term plans.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, and government regulations.

• Provide strategic financial insights and drive capital efficiency aligning with overall goals and growth objectives.

• Ensure the right financial systems, processes & policies are in place  to meet the internal and external demands of scaling.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive decision-making, resource allocation, and performance improvements.

What we will look for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in financial or basic accounting roles, preferably within high-growth startups.

• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving impactful business decisions.

• Strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.

• Proficiency in financial software, tools, and accounting systems; advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
