Java/Scala Engineering Intern

What's the role?

We are looking for an Intern to join our team in Kraków area, Poland to be a part of an international group of over 50 nationalities who are creating services for the digital world of tomorrow.

We offer the opportunity for an internship to work on recent location / spatial data technology. You will be embedded and contributing to real world projects and applications.

Responsibilities:

You will be helping an internal team to build services and libraries for map editing using data from 3rd party sources and Here maps. With this project, the intern will contribute to various components allowing efficient map data manipulation workflows and map data serving.

• Writing code under senior developer supervision
• QA: Executing test plans, strategies, and test suites. Optionally, integration and system test automation
• Dev Ops: taking care of CI/CD

Who are you?

You are a Software Engineer student who is willing to take on the challenge of joining an agile organization that is doing groundbreaking work in the world of Spatial Data, Location Platform and Automotive Grade Software. Moreover, you should bring along the following skills:

• Programming in Java or Scala.
• Ready to learn second technology as our projects are in both Java and Scala
• Documenting and presenting your work
• Open to learn new things, strengthen your software development skills, enjoy working and doing research in a tech team
• Good English skills, Polish is a plus
