Hero Journey Club is searching for a part-time (10-15 hrs/week) Senior Social Media Manager, responsible for guiding the strategic direction of our brand presence across all social media channels. Over time, you will also help us set the future strategy for social editorial content, reputation management channels, and engagement tied to marketing and brand goals.
This role is both a creator and operator for managing our external presence on our social media channels from creative brand campaign strategy to execution. You will help us build a strong presence on social media, identify organic marketing partnerships in the gaming ecosystem, and respond to questions from potential members through our social channels.
With a strong understanding of storytelling, brand, and design, you’ll lead the end-to-end process of social media campaigns, including the ability to plan, curate and tailor engaging content and copy for different social channels and audiences. You’ll also play a big part in leading our rebranding efforts across our social channels and thus will need a deep grasp of how to translate brand attributes into content that resonates with parents and kids.
You will be joining a lean team, and this role will have a lot of autonomy-- you should be a self-starter and be capable of self-directed work. This role will be impactful to our ever-growing program - reinventing what a community is at the heart of mental health and gaming. 🧑💻 The role
Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
Work to create and implement social media strategies monthly
Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
Work with a designer to bring design briefs to life
Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel
Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly social calendar which includes monthly growth objectives and initiatives
💙 You will be ideal for the role if this sounds like you:
3-5 years of social media management experience
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
Proficient using multi-social posting programs
Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
