Position Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator you will be expected to receive, prepare, sort, and distribute mail and incoming or outgoing packages for international transport. Preparing shipping documents and recording incoming and outgoing records including operation of a mail metering machine are daily duties. Performs mailroom operations in an effective, efficient, and safe matter, in accordance with the company guidelines, and safety regulations. 


This job is for you if you are:

Able to provide high level of customer service to all patrons, coworkers, and other interested parties. Operate a forklift and perform shipping and receiving operations in accordance with site-specific guidelines. Support the company vision, values, and quality program controls.


The ideal candidate will have previously served in a similar capacity with proven experience and a track record supporting a logistic role related to transportation/delivery, storage, packaging, cargo handling, and distribution processing.

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, per company requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with tact and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adequate hearing required for conversation, telephone use, and emergency information systems.
  • Ability to be independently mobile on all surfaces and situations.
  • Ability to move safely about work area.
  • Ability to retrieve items from high and low areas.
  • Ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and/or textures.
  • Must be able to change routine in a positive manner.
  • Must be able to follow through on assignments independently.
  • Must have good organizational skills.

  • Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day.
  • Physically able to lift boxes and packages weighing up to 70 pounds using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
