Job Responsibilities
  • Provide the full technical support of the customer HSIO design, including the early technical assessment, design scheme discussion, hardware design review, hardware debug support and other critical trouble shootings.
  • Collaborate with FAE and marketing team to develop and deliver technical proposals to customer, based on customer project technical requirement, work with Sales/FAE team to drive the design win on high-speed IO applications.
  • Work as the field expert on HSIO area, to provide the in-depth training and guidance of the HSIO design to the FAE team, to create and share the related technical articles and reference designs.
  • Provide regular feedback to AMD product and technical marketing team regarding the customer technical needs, product feature pros/cons, solution gap etc.

Job Requirements
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with high-speed serial IO design, including the transceiver architecture, CDR, DFE etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of the signal integrity, power integrity simulation and the related hardware design. Be familiar with the SI/PI EDA simulation tools and models, eg. Keysight ADS.
  • Familiar with the digital signal processing theory and the related tools, like Matlab Simulink.
  • Basic concept of the FPGA/SoC architecture, capable of basic RTL design.
  • Analog signal and mixed signal design, ADC, DAC design experience is preferred.
  • C, C++ and other software experience is a plus.
  • Fluent English communication skill, including written and verbal capabilities, strong presentations skills, and the ability to work with multiple groups.
