FLSA Classification: Classified, 220-day

Full Time/Part Time Status: Full-Time (40/hours week)

Regular/Temporary: Regular

Salary: Framework C- Step 38. Placement is commensurate with experience.


JOB SUMMARY

The Aftercare Site Supervisor will lead an afterschool program in a 6-8 school setting at our Point Loma campus. Responsibilities include developing an afterschool curriculum, leading 20+ staff members and 300+ students, managing a budget, hiring, scheduling, and communicating with families and school faculty. The ideal candidate is skilled at multi-tasking, effective communication, conflict resolution, taking initiative, ensuring safety, and developing rapport with students (ages 11-14) as well as adult colleagues. Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred but not required. 

 

The ideal candidate would possess the following competencies:

●      Comfortable leading enrichment activities with Middle school-age students

●      Inform and communicate effectively

●      Ability to work with diverse populations

●      Ability to lead staff


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

●      Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

●      Minimum of two years of experience working with youth programs in a supervisory role

●      Experience in a school/learning environment preferred

 

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary is commensurate with experience. HTH offers a very competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision for full-time employees and their dependents.

Step 38, C on 220-day framework. Range $56,118 - $64,460.
