The Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale is on the lookout for a Campus Rabbi who can infuse their vision with energy and warmth! This transformational role is all about connecting with students, offering spiritual leadership, and amplifying a pluralistic Jewish community. As the new Campus Rabbi, you'll work closely with the existing team to inspire students from all backgrounds, while serving as the spiritual leader of either the Reform or traditional Egalitarian minyan. Your passion for Jewish texts and culture will motivate students to engage deeply with their heritage and each other. You’ll be proactive in reaching out to Jewish students, fostering meaningful relationships, and facilitating vibrant discussions that celebrate shared values. Building an inclusive environment is key, as you'll champion friendship and understanding across various perspectives. Expect to mentor students, celebrating their personal Jewish journeys while creating opportunities for communal growth. With responsibilities spanning pastoral care, program development, and cross-cultural initiatives, every day will bring new chances to make a difference in student lives. You’ll find joy in being a visible campus presence and a Jewish role model. If you’ve got a heart for nurturing young leaders and fostering a deep love for Jewish tradition, The Slifka Center wants to hear from you!
