About the Role 

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to help Hims & Hers build the next generation healthcare platform. As a key executive, this person will architect and implement cutting-edge AI-driven solutions and leverage advancements in technology to build a system where customers, providers and ultimately the broader healthcare system benefit from more accessible, affordable, personalized care.

The CTO will oversee the technical strategy for the company as well as build and maintain an engineering team at the forefront of customer-centric health and wellness.

The ideal candidate is not only a talented leader and team builder, they are an excellent recruiter, an exceptional communicator, and a skillful problem solver. This person must be able to provide clear goals, drive execution at scale and operate with urgency towards delivering value to our customers.

You Will 

  • Lead the engineering team by managing, mentoring, hiring, and embodying the values of our team

  • Advocate for engineers by representing the department on the company leadership team while managing and building a world class  organization that is accountable, predictable, engaged, scalable, and aligned with the goals of the business fostering collaboration and productivity

  • Take ownership of the product from an engineering perspective by authoring a technical vision that lines up with the evolving business needs of the organization and execute on that vision by granting agency and ownership while ensuring the correct processes are in place and followed

  • Help to define the AI strategy for each product line and define the internal AI strategy to maximize optimization and efficiency across the organization

  • Define methods and metrics for measuring successes and failures

  • Be an example of, and advocate for, the company’s culture, mission and values
