HOA Operations Officer

About the Role:

In this role, you will administer, oversee, and direct the Fair and Responsible Banking program for the Bank and its subsidiaries, to ensure compliance with various consumer protection laws and regulations. You will maintain a compliance management strategy that reduces risk, promotes operational efficiency, and fosters high quality customer service through implementation of the Bank's Compliance Program Standards.

  • Provide support to Director of Healthcare and HOA Banking
  • Work with the Healthcare and HOA Team Leads to build connections with other business lines.
  • Regular communication and contact with other departments and business lines including, Credit Administration, Loan Operations, Training, Retail Banking, Treasury Management, Small Business Lending Center and Human Resources.
  • Aid in managing internal communications regarding production, training, loan fulfillment process, and all loan fulfillments as part of HOA lending.
  • Cross train in compliance functions and other healthcare operational needs.
  • Support integration and conversion of new HOA team members.
  • Continually work to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate and work with appropriate team members and groups to drive timely and compliant client service and outcomes.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Partner with Training Department to develop specific and specialized training for commercial systems, employee on-boarding, employee development (ie: commercial credit program), and enhancing sales training.
  • Contribute to designing and implementing accountability metrics for sales and production goals.
  • Work with Project Management department on development of new commercial systems.
  • Influence implementing and communicating the bank’s credit culture.
  • Assist in designing efficiencies in processes and procedures to create capacity for Team Leads and Relationship Managers to meet sales goal expectations. This includes taking a lead role in developing bank process and system consistencies across all regions.
  • Enhance relationship management processes across HOA regions.
  • All employees are responsible for internal controls in the performance of their assigned duties. Internal Control responsibilities are established in various policies, procedures, and documents, including the Code of Conduct.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations that apply to your position
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • 5 years HOA operations/underwriting and documentation experience
  • Prior successful supervisory or managerial experience desired.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit analysis and the overall loan process - application through funding - and lending legal requirements.
  • Experience in all commercial lending aspects, products, pricing, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Effective delegation skills. Ability to maintain professional poise under pressure of time constraints, frequent interruptions, etc.
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in front of large groups of people.

Our Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $62,000.00- $110,000.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
