Intern, Customer Success/Service Sales Specialist

As a Hologic Summer Intern, you are not just taking a job; you are taking your place on a global team of motivated, creative, and dedicated people! The intern experience gives you the opportunity to shine and share your knowledge, energy, and passion on meaningful projects that impact people all over the world.In addition to a project that will provide maximum experience and exposure in your desired field, the Hologic College Relations team provides opportunities to learn more about the company, network with leadership, and develop the skills needed to succeed in your future career.The Service Sales Specialist Intern will be focused on reaching out to dormant customers and offering them a promotional offering for their past-due preventative maintenance service.Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:• Serve as the primary point of contact for summer promotion• Manage quote/estimate generation• Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure the needs of the customer are being met to the highest standard• Manage weekly reporting• Participate and engage in product training opportunities• Participate in ad hoc projects focused on continuous improvement.We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:• Able to work full-time over the summer months (May/June - August/Sept)• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship• Majoring in Business, Finance or similar field of study preferred• Rising Junior, Rising Senior• Acute attention to detail and accuracy• Demonstrated strength in achieving great customer experience• Passion for customer success in a competitive and changing market.• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel• Working knowledge of ERP is preferred and the ability to learn other computer programs is a must• SalesForce.com experience desired• High energy, self-motived, proactive, goal-oriented• Ability to work onsite at our San Diego, CA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not providedThe hourly pay range for this role is $19 - $25 per hour.
