Sr. Accountant

HomeLight is seeking a senior-level accountant with 5-7 years of experience in general accounting processes to join our team. You will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks and play a key role in maintaining and improving the financial health of the organization.

Proficient in general accounting processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and organized

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information
Prepare journal entries, month-end closing procedures, and tax returns
Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
Support month-end and year-end close and audit preparations
Perform internal control and support financial audits
Analyze financial data and reports, and perform variance analysis
Prepare financial statements and other reports as needed
Train and mentor junior staff

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA certification preferred
