Process Sr. Engineer is a strategic leader for the Stamping Department that works and communicates directly across Stamping and Injection Mold, as well as AAP. This job is responsible to 1) Lead and support department initiatives through business plan activity to strengthen Honda characteristics. 2) Collect, review and/or analyse process related data for top trending items to identify potential problems and implement countermeasures that achieves our KPI (key performance indicators). 3) Manage, evaluate, and communicate change points to develop processes that improve and sustain production characteristics. 4) Develop an optimal process layout by creating and evaluating packaging concepts, part racks, and delivery locations with good FIFO (first in, first out) to reduce process complexity. 5) Develop and maintain operation standards to provide standardized training where all associates are able to safely achieve an on time quality product. 6) Strengthen Process Engineering knowledge through technical training, mentoring and sharing of experiences that equips your team with skills for personal growth. 7) Lead/support process development and maturation to achieve a spike less new model launch. 8) Develop, manage and verify accuracy of process related systems and procedures to ensure compliance. 9) Establish and maintain regular communications of process activity to internal/external departments to understand common challenges and adopt best practices that will improve plant characteristics. 10) Develop, manage and execute projects and/or processes to ensure the success of new model and business plan strategies to improve department characteristics. 11) Design and improve process efficiency for maximum manpower utilization to establish direct process coverage while considering SQCDME (safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, environmental) impacts.Key Accountabilities• Lead for Activeplant in Stamping• Oversee the Engineering of Development and Maintenance of Op Standards• Develop and maintain Check sheets• Engineer and Develop Process Layout. Conduct (MOST) studies method• Manage part movement from press to press• Project activity (NM, Process improvement and development)Qualifications, Experience and Skills• Bs degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience• 3 years of stamping/po experience.
