Your Role
As the Manager, Accounting, you will report to the Director, Accounting and will collaborate to build a best-in-class accounting function. This role is hands on and highly visible. You will have direct responsibility for all aspects of the month-end close procedures, including Accounting, A/R, A/P, journal entry approvals and monthly reconciliations. The Manager, Accounting will... oversee the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements. The Manager, Accounting will provide guidance and leadership to direct reports and work to allocate tasks to the various team members, as well as be responsible for driving team performance.
Primary Functions of the Manger, Accounting Include:
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes and the annual audit
• Assist with tax compliance, quarterly payment estimates and annual tax return filings
• Establish and assess policies, practices and internal control procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage general ledger accounting functions
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with Netsuite ERP administration and optimization preferred
• Experience With Other ERP systems preferred (AP Automation/Credit Cards/Expense Management/Travel)Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software
