Position Summary:
Responsible for the efficient manufacture and quality forming of production parts within the assigned department.
Shift hours:
(2nd) 3pm–11pm
(3rd) 11pm–7am
Starting pay is $17.77 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
Check specifications as to job and perform numbers
Retrieve proper pre-form and guide onto mandrel using lubricant as necessary
Position loaded mandrels in curing rack for curing. Move curing rack into autoclave when full
Remove curing rack from autoclave to proper work area
Position mandrel bars for unloading. Remove formed hose from mandrel, place into proper container
Position full baskets with proper job and employee clock numbers
Identify parts baskets with proper job and employee clock numbers
Set up curing racks per production and supervisor guidance
Replenish lubricant in trough as needed
Perform all operations according to standard practice or as directed by supervisor to produce quality parts
Fill out required paperwork as necessary
Record cure charts as required
Daily and weekly overtime may be required
Perform other miscellaneous duties required but not listed above
Education and Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience preferred (particularly in a team environment)
NCRC certified preferred
Interpersonal Skills – Must be able to read and write at a medium level for the purpose of understanding and applying quality documentation and standard operating procedures, along with completion of job / time reporting
Problem-solving – May be asked to participate in continuous improvement activities and perform basic mathematics
Physical / Mental / Visual abilities – Duties of job require periods of standing, use of hands (pushing and pulling >50 lbs.) and fingers, bending and reaching, lifting (>50lbs.) and movement of materials frequently. Must be able to visually interpret work instructions
Work Environment/Work Conditions:
Work time will be spent in general factory floor environments
Daily and weekly overtime may be required
Temperature and noise may vary depending on external environmental conditions
Lack of attention and carelessness may result in personal injury to self or others
