Biomedical Equipment Tech II

SummaryThe Biomedical Equipment Technician II (BMET II) maintains medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations or in accordance with the Alternative Equipment Management (AEM) Plan. The BMET II is responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The BMET II colleagues should be competent in using all test equipment and tools needed to perform these duties. This position assists in the development of specifications for the selection of new clinical equipment.
