In this role, you will have an exciting opportunity to drive the business in a dynamic and rapidly growing ecommerce space. WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage SEO optimization strategy for Hot Topic, BoxLunch, and Her Universe brandsIdentify relevant SEO opportunities for different product categories and licensed propertiesResearch upcoming TV / Movie / Music releases and prepare keywords to rank on search engines Partner with cross functional teams to ensure category pages are merchandised, has relevant copy, and is properly linkedStrategize and communicate with SEO agency to execute on key landing pagesTrack and share daily performance metrics relative to topline growth goalsMaintain relevant content including product copy and page textMonitor competitor rankings and ever-evolving best practices WHAT YOU'LL NEED 2 years of experience with working with SEO campaigns or digital marketingUnderstanding of Google and Bing search engines and rankings algorithmsExperience with website best practices: HTML, title tags, page copy, product links, etcProficiency with large data sets, Excel, and analytics toolsFamiliarity with retail performance metricsKeen eye for trending topics and pop culture eventsStrong communication skills - can partner with cross-functional teams and external partnersCan stay organized in a fast paced environment. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
