Acting as the first and often last, point of contact for our guests, you will communicate in an open, helpful and engaging tone to provide a great experience.

Job Description

FRONT DESK - CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Our Candlewood Suites in Meridian is hiring multiple Customer Service Representatives to provide excellent service at the front desk. Each position would work a variety of morning shifts (7 AM- 3 PM) and evenings (3 PM - 11 PM). We are hiring Full time and Part Time candidates. Full-time candidates will need to be open and flexible with their schedules.

**Open Availability and Weekends Required. **

Reports directly to the Operations and General Managers.

SUMMARY: You will be responsible for front desk operations of the hotel. Maintaining safety of guests and maintain front office records and daily operations. Handle the requests and transactions of the hotel guests, and coordinate with the other departments as necessary.

A Day in the life of a Front Desk Agent can look like:

1. Taking, modifying, or canceling guest reservations as necessary

2. Checking guests in/out, verifying departure dates and offer future reservations

3. Administering guest payment policies

4. Handling shift cash transactions

5. Coordinating with other departments to fulfill guest special requests

6. Handling hotel phone system and transferring calls. Taking messages for guests, as well as hotel staff, when necessary

7. Meeting new guests daily and providing them with excellent customer service

- VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED

- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00/hour DOE

- Vacation/Sick Pay after one year of tenure

- Health Insurance, Dental, Vision also available

- $250.00 Sign on bonus after successfully completing 3 month introductory period
