Job Title: Facility Services Assistant
General Description: Performs any combination of cleaning tasks for restrooms, corridors, drinks stations, and various other cleaning task to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in Chickasaw Nation Facilities.
Supervision Received: Facility Services Supervisor
Supervision Exercised: None
Essential Job Functions:
- Sweeps, mops, vacuums and performs basic janitorial procedures.
- Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested. Fabric upholstered furnishings are to be vacuumed.
- Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim and walls. Maintain sanitization of restrooms. Empty and clean waste receptacles.
- Mixes various cleaning agents and use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
- Ability to use vacuum cleaner, basic equipment and knowledge for carpet care.
- Uses safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities and using cleaning chemicals.
- Cleans and restocks drink stations.
- Cleans and restocks Bag in Box (BIB) rooms.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Blood-Borne Pathogen Training within first week of employment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions; read, write, and maintain simple records.
- Must be able to use janitorial equipment and supplies
- Must perform moderately strenuous work.
- Must be able to work varied hours as needed including weekend and holidays.
- Must be able to work in an environment where second hand smoke is present.
Training and Experience:
Must compete entry level trainings with basic skill sets and knowledge of the following:
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and chemical training for every chemical used
- Cross-contamination and hand washing
- General cleaning and proper techniques used by housekeeping
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Be able to pass a background check and receive a gaming license from the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
- Complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes very loud.
