This role is part of the Backoffice Applications group under the office of the CIO. It is responsible for the delivery of HR Technology solutions for Akamai's internal stakeholders.

The HR Business Technology Partner (HR-BTP) is a Director-level position representing a business focused Technology leader. It is responsible for serving as the interface between HR and Information Technology. This individual supports strategic program delivery by influencing strategy with knowledge of business and technology markets. The role translates business needs into effective projects and managing relationships across the organization.

As a Director Business Applications, you will be responsible for:

  • Building robust and trusted relationships with Business and IT stakeholders
  • Collaborating with functional leaders in HR to develop and refine business strategy and technology direction through a holistic understanding of strategic priorities and market trends
  • Influencing and evolving HRs long term tech strategy and roadmap to meet business objectives.
  • Facilitating intake and management of strategic business demand and align with IT governance
  • Overseeing, monitoring, and supporting large technology programs to ensure effective governance and realization of optimal business value.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to define and track performance & value metrics and ensure IT services are delivered as per expectations.
  • Maintaining an inclusive and growth minded team culture.
  • Collaborating with technology stakeholders across the enterprise to meet delivery expectations on behalf of HR.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelors degree with 12 years experience working with Business Stakeholders in the Hi-tech industry.
  • Have understanding of business objectives and assisting with strategy development and prioritization of the technology portfolio.
  • Have domain knowledge and experience overseeing the full stack of HR disciplines.
  • Have implementation experience on Oracles HCM Cloud platform
  • Possess executive presence and the ability to manage partnerships with senior technical and business leaders.
  • Have good presentation skills and ability to educate others about complex technologies including stakeholders and vendors globally

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $149,122 - $238,744/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
