The HR Coordinator reports the HR Business Partner and will provide HR coordination support segment HR Team and segment employees. This position will coordinate and/or support various HR related activities such as reporting, administration, record maintenance and communication. In addition, this role will serve as the primary back-up for reception and mailroom activities.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Primary areas of coordination and support activities include:

Talent, Recruitment, and Development support activities including coordination and scheduling of interviews.

Learning Management System (LMS) administrator -Training record assignment/maintenance
-
General HR records management and invoice administration/maintenance
-
Routine HR reporting (Arkema group related and otherwise)

HR related Training and Event scheduling and coordination

Onboarding coordination, including Pre-Employment Screening (drug screening, background checks), New
-
Hire Orientation and paperwork for local and plant employees throughout USA.

Coordinates and/or facilitates employee events such as annual employee Flu shot clinic, and Recognition
-
Programs (to include Service Recognition programs and activities)

Support College Recruitment program coordination and execution including internships and new college

graduates.

Utility player for HR team to support various projects, HR functions, and business operations including HR

Reporting, record keeping, and other responsibilities as requested by Human Resources.

Primary back-up for reception area and mailroom.
Context and Environment
-
The job involves anticipated standard work hours of 40 per week in an office environment. Little to no travel is required. Overtime may be required. Safe work habits are a must. Time management, multi-tasking abilities, a professional solution oriented approach, and collaboration are essential traits for success.

The job involves independent and collaborative work with the HR team and employees.

Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements

Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)

Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
Required Education/Qualifications /Work Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or transferable field preferred. HR Certification with relevant HR experience considered.

2+ Years as HR Administrative / Generalist like experience, in a manufacturing setting ideal

Some foundational knowledge of general HR functions, ideally in some of the following; talent acquisition/development, HR analytics, HRMS, training, employee relations

Ability to manage confidential/sensitive information as needed

Ability to work with minimal supervision, with sound judgment and follow through

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Ability to quickly resolve problems and negotiate effective, consistent solutions

Ability to manage time wisely in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
