Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Product Head with expertise in RegTech to lead and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our product roadmap. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical problem-solving skills who can lead product development initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact solutions. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and the ability to roll up your sleeves and work directly on product issues when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Product Strategy: Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our RegTech solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.

Hands-On Leadership: Step into technical and operational tasks as required, solving complex problems and driving product features to completion.

Execution & Delivery: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality of features.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and client services teams to align product strategies with business objectives and customer needs.

Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise: Work closely with technical teams to solve complex technical challenges, guiding development efforts with hands-on technical contributions when needed.

Market & Competitive Analysis: Keep up-to-date with market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to identify new product opportunities and ensure competitive positioning.

Customer Focused Innovation: Engage with customers to gather feedback, identify pain points, and translate insights into product features that address real-world regulatory challenges.

Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and metrics to make informed decisions about product prioritization, performance, and enhancements.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address challenges or bottlenecks in the product development process, ensuring solutions are implemented effectively.

Agile Product Development: Lead and participate in Agile development processes, ensuring the product team stays focused on priorities, sprint goals, and delivering value to customers.

Budget Management: Oversee product-related budgets, including resource allocation, tool procurement, and external vendor management when required.

Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management or a similar role, with a strong background in RegTech, FinTech, or a related industry.

Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of product development, with hands-on experience in technical problem solving, and the ability to work closely with engineering teams.

Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, with a focus on driving execution and achieving business results.

Execution-Oriented: A track record of "getting things done" by setting clear goals, managing teams, and overcoming obstacles to deliver high-quality products on time.

Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features and enhancements.

Agility & Adaptability: Experience working in fast-paced environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot as necessary to meet deadlines.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Problem Solving: Ability to quickly identify problems and implement solutions in a pragmatic and collaborative manner.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.).

Nice to Have:

Experience working with regulatory compliance systems, AML/KYC, or transaction monitoring solutions.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.

Previous experience with SaaS-based products in a B2B environment.
