The Blueprint (Role Profile)
Apex Tool Group is looking to add an HR Generalist to support daily operations at our Jonesboro, AR manufacturing facility. This role will assist in managing HR programs and initiatives, talent acquisition and development, and policies and procedure administration for the site. S/he will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to help promote a positive culture!
This role reports to an off-site Human Resources Manager with dotted line responsibility to the Plant Manager.
The Build (Responsibilities)
· Employee Relations – Responsible for ensuring positive employee relations through engagement activities such as roundtables, focus groups, stay interviews, and in investigations
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
· Previous experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Generalist capacity
· Ability to effectively coach, communicate, and influence leaders and associates at all levels
· ADP e-Time or Kronos experience preferred
· PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills preferred (i.e., VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
· HR Operations – Manages timecard and attendance review processes, and processes all employee related updates in HRIS systems; assists with other HR programs as necessary
· Talent Acquisition – Leads full-cycle recruiting process for all hourly manufacturing employees, including sourcing, screening, interviewing
· Business Partner – Partners with manufacturing leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and projects
· Continuous Improvement – Regularly analyzes HR and other data to provide actionable insights to business leaders; recommends improvements within HR and business processes
· Onboarding and Orientation – Creates and manages programs to ensure a positive onboarding and orientation process for all hourly and salaried new hires
· Compliance - Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws; regularly maintains and audits personnel files and postings
