Position Summary
The HRIS Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the implementation and maintenance of our Human Resources Information Technology systems. They will lead the design, development, configuration, and implementation of HRIS while supporting other projects as needed. Acting as a bridge between HR and other functional departments, the HRIS Manager ensures all requirements are met. They will collect data to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope, and create technical specifications. Additionally, the HRIS Manager provides daily operational support to various HR functions, such as recruitment, performance management, payroll, benefits, and compensation, by offering technical support, troubleshooting, and end-user training to ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes.
Position Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain the optimal function of the organization's internal HR information services systems, including database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.

Provide help desk support for HR and other functional teams, investigating and resolving operational issues by applying knowledge of HRIS, security, business processes, and procedures. Collaborate with vendors to submit and escalate issues for research and resolution.

Collaborate with executive leadership and HR to identify necessary improvements and gather business requirements through techniques such as work sessions and interviews. Analyze and document complex business requirements and processes, recommend and implement solutions, and communicate these requirements to relevant parties.

Create complex test case scenarios for testing and monitor/oversee the testing of business applications to ensure all requirements are incorporated into the system design.

Lead HCM project activities, including issue escalation and status reporting to upper management.

Plan and design complex cross-functional business processes and system modifications, making recommendations to improve and support business activities.

Provide work guidance to less experienced HRIS professionals.

Manage permissions, access, personalization, and system operations/settings for HR services users.

Stay up to date with trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
4-6 years of experience in an HRIS role (e.g., Workday, Ceridian, UKG) within a high-growth organization.

1-3 years of experience administering human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Familiarity with and proficiency in navigating HRIS and related systems (Benefits Admin, Timekeeping, etc.).

Strong organizational skills, ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

Knowledge of basic human resources practices and principles.

Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
