YOUR TYPICAL DAY:

· HR Systems Administration and Oversight, which includes: onboarding process including payroll tax forms, personnel information changes, benefit plan enrollment, performance appraisals, payroll administration, W-2 reporting, PTO requests and tracking and overall HR reporting.

· HRIS seamless integration with downstream systems and third party vendors to drive deep efficiency and improved accuracy.

· Mandatory Employment Reporting, which includes: EEO-1 Reporting, New Hire Reporting, EVerify, and OSHA 300 preparation and posting.

· Workers’ Compensation Administration, which includes: back up for claims reporting, audit compliance, NCCI rate tracking and evaluation of loss runs

· Health and Benefit Insurance Policy, Administration and Reporting, which includes: overall benefit plan design recommendations, employee contribution modeling and annual renewal negotiations with insurance broker.

· 401(k) Policy Administration, which includes: applicant onboarding, integration with other internal HR systems, policy recommendations, mandatory fiduciary education and plan review, Discrimination and Top Heavy Testing, participation in annual 401(k) audit and mandatory notice dissemination.

· Payroll Oversight and Administration, which includes: Payroll Coordinator oversight, implementation of new compensation plans, payroll processing and reporting systems and administration of payroll related deductions, including: child support, 401(k), health insurance, etc.

· Compensation Plan Oversight, which includes: demonstration of an in depth understanding of sales compensation plans, competitive pay band analysis and reporting, job description assistance and compliance.

· Paid Time Off (PTO) Administration, including: PTO balance recordkeeping, policy recommendations, reporting and payout calculations.

· Leave of Absence (LOA) and FMLA Administration, which includes: STD and LTD coordination, PTO coordination, communication with leadership, relevant insurance deductions and employee follow up.

· New State Registrations to support geographic expansion.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong prioritization, analytical and problem solving skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in HRIS or HR related leadership role
  • 3+ years’ experience with payroll policy and administration
  • In-depth experience with robust HRIS platform and downstream systems integration

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or related field, required.
