Human Ergonomics Engineer

• Analyze user goals, sensory inputs, workflows, and tasks within scope of components to identify key user requirements, gaps, and opportunities
• Analyze form and function for ease of use, cognitive cues
• Identify immediate research / assessment needs and partner with teams to develop and participate in evaluations
• Document key attributes and strategic guidelines
• Suggest quick wins, longer term research and development, and next steps

• Must possess a thorough understanding human factors science, theories, models, and research methodologies as well as knowledge and application of ergonomic principles
• Experience in understanding and utilizing anthropometric data
• Experience in developing and conducting ergonomic assessments, usability testing, and task flow analyses
• Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in utilizing ergonomics and layouts tools highly desired
• PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
