Human Resource Coordinator

Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our dynamic team. RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and screening.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews with potential candidates and assist in the selection process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the right candidates are chosen for each role.

Onboarding and Orientation:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding program for new team members.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new team members to the company culture, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide necessary support and resources to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:

  • Act as a point of contact for team members' inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between team members and management.
  • Foster positive employee relations by promoting open communication and a respectful work environment.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Manage HR databases and systems to track employee information, performance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for HR and company leadership to support data-driven decision-making.

Training and Development Support:

  • Coordinate and support training and development initiatives for team members.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and sourcing appropriate training resources.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback to improve future programs.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • Bilingual communication skills a big plus (Spanish)
  • Proven experience in HR coordination, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
