Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in operational and strategic business planning activities, providing proactive human resources solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Provide effective coaching on a wide variety of HR related topics to all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and maintain a “pulse” of the organization. Proactively identifying organizational needs and offering HR solutions to help advance organizational and employee success.
  • Partner with other manufacturing HR Managers for consistent application of policies
  • Partner closely with the HR Centers of Excellence on a variety of activities including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, etc.
  • Engage with HR leadership and client leadership teams to manage programs in areas including employee performance, development and succession planning, and annual compensation review.
  • Provide individual and group training on a variety of HR tools and topics as required.
  • Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, and discipline issues consistent with HR guidelines and in partnership with our legal team.
  • Contribute to the support and implementation of corporate-wide policies, procedures, systems and initiatives.
  • Maintain current knowledge base of legal and regulatory trends, in order to effectively counsel organization leaders and reduce potential business liabilities.
  • Partner with the plant leaders to drive recruitment and onboarding activities to identify effective talent for hourly and salaried positions.


Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in HR preferred (preferably within a manufacturing facility). PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.

  • Excellent cross-group collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and achieve results in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze HR data and drive solutions or recommendations based on data insights.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize based on the highest value add to business.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work with and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and tactical types of activities.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision; self-starter with high drive.
