THE OPPORTUNITY
You will administer all human resources related activities, including: benefits, payroll, recruitment and policy administration. You will also assist employees with human resources related issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead recruiting efforts by providing support with screening applications, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, preparing/extending job offers, tracking candidates, setting up pre-employment screenings, etc.
- Facilitate new hire orientation by partnering with other departments to ensure new hires are receiving critical information.
- Manage associate systems and building access.
- Maintain and update associate files.
- Assist associates with basic questions regarding payroll, benefits, schedules, policies, etc.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to: disciplinary actions, disputes and investigations, performance management and training.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in coordination of employee relations/engagement activities.
- Conduct employee investigations and bring to resolution.
- Provide advice to managers on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
- Prepare and issue termination paperwork.
- Support the business in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources required.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a human resources role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with SAP a plus.
