US Gestamp North America, US, US Gestamp Date: Jun 23, 2024 Sales and Strategy Analyst THE OPPORTUNITY The Sales & Strategic Planning Analyst will be an integral player in supporting the U.S. Region Sales & Pricing Manger for responsibilities involving the Sales & Business Development departments. On a daily basis, this person will be responsible for understanding & analyzing existing business, maintaining commercial alignment between the regional HQ and manufacturing locations, and helping facilitate upcoming strategic goals and objectives. This position will also support special projects and ad hoc requests from senior management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Help maintain & manage OEM production volume forecasting for the region Provide monthly volume analytics: sales reporting, OEM production, Gestamp production Ensure manufacturing locations are budgeting correctly by providing accurate commercial pricing and material fluctuations Collaborate with manufacturing plants during Business Plan for future vehicle opportunities: vehicle programs, sales content, investment strategy & timing Develop regional pricing database to track & analyze internal pricing strategies Understand current business and products for all regional business locations Maintain all corporate reporting responsibilities (GMS reports, Sales KPI’s, Order Intake report) & preserve strong relationship between NAFTA & Corporate Sales Controlling. Knowledge of current and potential customer base and the current and future needs of those customers. Prepare long-term commercial agreements, monthly sales, and automotive reports for senior management Research and analyze competitors and industry trends EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1 – 3 years of working experience as a Sales and Strategy Analyst within the Automotive Industry Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related acumen KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills; combined with impeccable business judgement, excellent problem management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a senior management team Ability to conceptualize and present potential future business scenarios Must be able to communicate with a variety of individuals and groups: commercial members, plant employees, international sales team, senior management, etc. Familiarity with automotive quotation process a plus Previous experience with sales forecasting, financial bridging, & manipulating multiple data sources Advanced Excel skills are required Adept at understanding databases and the ability to obtain ad hoc data for projects as needed Ability to successfully manage multiple assignments and changing priorities Must be able to manage time efficiently with limited supervision Excellent people skills and dedication to preserving a team environment The ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and seek to hire the best candidate regardless of age, beliefs, disability, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.
