Human Resources Intern

Your opportunity:
In this 6-week role, working 20 hours per week, you will support the EIS Human Resources Team including projects to support Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition. You will also have opportunity to learn about company products, processes, and customers. This will be a hybrid position with most hours remote but some hours on-site at EIS headquarters in Ipswich, Massachusetts.


What you’ll do:

  • Analyze LMS courses from a variety of vendors in order to compare and recommend appropriate content for EIS employees.
  • Research and recommend best practices in the areas of college recruiting, employer branding, onboarding, and employee volunteerism.
  • Learn HRIS reporting functionality and generate reports as needed.
  • Participate in orientation and other onboarding activities in order to provide feedback and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in training courses and activities, both with employees and customers, in order to learn about EIS processes and offerings.


About You:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as required
