Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstWe're seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Portfolio Manager to support our Associate End User Experience Organization and mature the management of work and projects utilizing Agile and spearhead our adoption and optimization of the IT Cost Model Framework. In this critical role, you'll collaborate closely with IT leadership and Technology Owners, driving efforts to accurately report and control technology costs. Our goal to improve collaboration, alignment, and transparency among different levels of the organization. Enabling effective management by providing a holistic view of all initiatives aligned with cost and value and supporting the implementation of lean-agile practices across the organization. If you have a deep understanding of the IT Cost Model, a talent for data-driven decision-making, and a passion for optimizing technology investments, we want to hear from you.The Senior IT Portfolio Management Professional is accountable for driving technology domain leaders to identify, quantify and prioritize projects and align for optimizing price and quantity within their organization. They will ensure the technology owners are executing on cost reduction opportunities and will track and report on progress against targets and KPIs. They will also work to assist with prioritizing budget and ensuring that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. The Senior IT Portfolio Management will also assist Technology Owners in determining what the technology should cost, such as the appropriate price for products and services and the appropriate quantity of technology consumed. They are responsible for bringing transparency to decision points and roadblocks.Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT or related field or 6 years of relevant experience, education, and training- 4+ years of experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports- 4+ years of working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation- Successfully managed, lead and executed projects- Ability to guide and coach Agile maturity by identifying incremental improvements while working toward long term strategies- Knowledge of the core Finance principles and basic understanding of the corporate accounting process (forecasting, invoicing, accruals...etc.)- This role needs to be able to communicate effectively, build/maintain relationship with cross functional areas along with an understanding of department's work and department finances.- Expert knowledge of agile and waterfall execution methods at team, release train/program and portfolio levels- Technology background to translate IT delivery into executive and business views/understanding- Strong Technology Business Management (TBM) skills to connect storytelling to technology investment to business value- Strong ability to predict risks, identify cross team coordination gaps, and conflict resolution skills- Knowledge of business process, IT budgets and supporting large agile organizations- Advance skills in strategy and communication for executive alignment- Accountable for the socialization of coordination and metric development of strategic initiatives- Be a self-starter and be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesPreferred Qualifications- Strong Azure DevOps (ADO) reporting experience (NTH PowerBI or advanced excel skills)- Six Sigma certification- PMP- Apptio- Agile SAFeAdditional InformationWhy HumanaHumana offers a variety of benefits to promote the best health and well-being of our employees and their families.
