DescriptionSummary:The Enterprise Strategic Investments lives within the enables Huntington’s Corporate Ventures team and aids the strategic priorities through the identification, evaluation and execution of strategic investments and non-bank acquisitions. We are looking for an energetic, positive and creative person who isn’t afraid to try new things and work on cross-functional and diverse teams. The Strategic Investments Director reports directly to the Head of Ventures and are responsible for working with the Heads and Directors of the business segments on the selection of strategic investments and non-bank acquisitions.Duties And Responsibilities• Identify, develop, and execute strategies for key business areas regarding non-bank M&A and strategic investment, including all aspects of deal development and prospecting, sourcing, negotiating and closing.• Assist in developing new initiatives by assessing and analyzing new markets, critical media and sports trends, and competitive landscapes.• Lead due diligence in the form of business model evaluation, financial analysis and industry/market analysis.• Hire, inspire and lead a team focused on the delivery of Strategic Investments and non-bank acquisitions aligned to the business unit and enterprise strategies.• Conduct financial analyses and develop proposals for new business and investment opportunities and develop all required materials needed to reach an investment decision.
