Huron is seeking a Research Contracts Specialist II who will negotiate and prepare clinical research study contracts in a fully remote capacity. The role involves utilizing contracting expertise to effectively support educational organizations in improving student outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities: Negotiate and prepare various research-related contracts while maintaining compliance, managing client relationships, and developing innovative processes for contract management.
Skills: Strong knowledge of contracts, client relationship management, problem-solving, and healthcare or research compliance are essential for this role.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree related to the position or equivalent work experience; 2-3 years of experience in research administration or legal contracting experience preferred.
Location: This is a fully remote position based in the USA, specifically open to candidates authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation: $75000 - $90000 / Annually

Are you ready to make impact with your contracting expertise? As a member of Huron’s Research Office team, you will negotiate and prepare clinical research study contracts that include Confidentiality Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, Nonconforming Subcontracts, Master Service Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, and Data Transfer Agreements.
This is a Fulltime US-REMOTE role.
Required:
• U.S. work authorization is required
• Huron requires a bachelor’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in research administration, and/or legal-rated experience, with contracts
Preferred:
The estimated base salary range for this job is $75,0000 - $90,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $81,000 - $100,800. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
