Robust long-range planning is essential to support our transition to electric vehicles and sustain our growth in the market. This role is designed to support the Sales Planning department in the development of long-range sales plans and industry forecasts.Major Responsibilities• Support development of a 10-year sales plan for Hyundai and Genesis brands by leveraging deep industry insight developed through internal study and modeling, and analysis of external market data sets including market forecasts and current performance data.• Utilize business and statistical analysis frameworks to turn data and information into actionable insight to guide Long Range Plan development.• Lead studies on individual issues or opportunities that arise in the process of developing the Long-Range Plan. Examples include plant capacity balancing, profit optimization, and the impact of competitive actions.• Coordinate information management and sharing across relevant groups by creating and maintaining slide decks and worksheets for communication and maintaining file repositories to ensure access and accuracy.• Be an expert in the automotive market and the trends driving change to support development of internal industry forecasts of future sales performance.• Develop and present materials for executive review of sales plans and forecasts.• Work with Product Planning, Production Planning, Product Line Management, and other groups to foster discussion and optimize future product and sales plans to meet the goals of the 10-year plan.• Be an internal champion of the future vision of the company and ensure that this vision is communicated clearly and well understood.Major Responsibilities (continued)Authority• Delivers results with limited direction on day-to-day work and general direction on new or complex assignments.• Able to independently identify and solve problems of moderate complexity using independent judgement.• Responsible for setting objectives and achieving results that have a direct impact on group performance.• Develop recommendations on long-range sales plan and industry forecasts.• Mange vendors (define scope and ensure delivery of goods/services, monitor and drive performance, work to raise effectiveness).Education~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor’s degree preferred~ Master’s degree a plusRelated Experience• Six or more years of relevant experience with at least two or more years of directly related automotive experience.• Two or more years of supervisory experience desired.Skills/Knowledge• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, aptitude and familiarity with statistical modeling and statistical concepts are preferred.• Computer knowledge includes but not limited to databases, query languages, spreadsheets (Excel), and word processing.• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Ability to understand/deliver complex projects on time and within budgetary guidelines.• Strong analytical rigor with statistical concepts and modeling familiarity.• Solves problems of moderate complexity, where solutions may not be immediately evident in existing processes or systems.• Interacts with senior internal employees on matters often requiring coordination of activities across department.• Advanced knowledge of Excel for the purpose of analyzing/visualizing large data sets.• Proficient in Microsoft Office.• Knowledge of SAP, CAARs, PIN Explorer a plus.• Knowledge of data analysis tools a plus (Python, Tableau, Tableau Prep).Certification• N/A.Physical RequirementsNormal office dutiesWork Model#LI-Hybrid (60% Onsite/40% Remote)Affiliate#HyundaiCompensation$86,800.00 - $124,000.00 AnnualBenefits• Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)• Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.• Vacation and sick time off• Healthcare insurance (medical, dental, and vision)• 401(K) company match• Additional 401(K) Employer Enhanced Contribution program – eligible after 1 year of employment, in addition to the regular employer matching contribution• Basic life insurance, short- and long-term disability• Mental health, wellbeing, and employee assistance program• Health advocate (coordinate care and services, assistance with claim and billing issues, understanding Hyundai benefits)Our Company adheres to the equal employment opportunity guidelines set forth by federal, state and local laws.
