Icertis, where we are powering contract intelligence, is seeking a VP of Pricing and Planning to lead the global pricing strategy from development to operationalization and integrate it with the annual marketing planning process. This role requires significant collaboration across finance, sales, revenue operations, IT, partnerships, and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of our platform, products, value framework, customer decision-making processes, and operating costs to develop a pricing strategy that optimizes growth, customer value, and operational efficiency. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in developing pricing strategies that consider competition, churn, acquisition costs, operating costs, and customer price elasticities. #LI-RS1


What you will do:
  • Actively contribute to senior leadership by setting business strategy, promoting growth, and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Establish a pricing strategy for our platform, applications, co-pilots, partnerships, and managed services.
  • Develop pricing strategies for new deals, customer renewals, and negotiation guardrails.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units to execute pricing strategies.
  • Lead an internal consultative team delivering high-quality pricing, market, and customer analysis.
  • Drive insightful pricing approaches by gathering data, conducting tests, and proving hypotheses.
  • Prioritize resource allocation for Product and Sales leadership projects.
  • Help achieve revenue targets through pricing initiatives.
  • Create new business opportunities by identifying and proposing technical and strategic solutions.
  • Define annual price optimization initiatives by analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Work with product marketing and management to align pricing and packaging with the product roadmap.
  • Develop expertise on competitive pricing practices and trends, monitor changes, and analyze impacts.
  • Influence leadership on product monetization strategies.
  • Lead performance analysis of demand generation channels with marketing teams to optimize fund allocation.
  • Maintain campaign reporting to ensure alignment with marketing plan targets.
  • Provide recommendations on fund re-allocation based on performance.
  • Develop and track the annual marketing plan in conjunction with marketing teams.
  • Use performance data to inform marketing strategies and predict outcomes.


What you will bring:
  • 15+ years of experience in Pricing, Consulting, or Corporate Strategy.
  • Broad technical knowledge of pricing and market access in global markets.
  • Strong understanding of SAAS industry pricing strategies and their application to business models and financial objectives.
  • Ability to specify technical and operational requirements for pricing approaches.
  • Strong business case development skills, particularly in reflecting pricing in product adoption and marketing plans.
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills for detailed marketing planning.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proven accountability and drive to achieve outcomes.
  • Success in leading new business opportunities and delivering results.
  • Ability to identify and develop solutions to complex problems both strategically and operationally.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and adept at developing logical solutions to new challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA highly preferred.


$260,000 - $340,000 a year
Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. In addition to the base salary and annual bonus target and an equity component is included in the compensation package.
