SharePoint Developer (Part-Time)

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to develop a new internal/intranet site for one of ICF’s government clients, located in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and migrating content for SharePoint sites. This role requires close collaboration with a designer to ensure a cohesive and effective design. A strong understanding of SharePoint (Online), web development, and migration efforts is essential. Close collaboration within the internal and client teams will be crucial for the success of this project.

This is an on-call position which means that hours could be variable between 0 and 30 a week.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide architecture, design, support, administration, configuration, and development of SharePoint Sites and infrastructure. This includes intranet and internet portals, extranets, and team sites
  • Collaborate with a designer to help create at least three different website layouts/templates
  • Build and code the approved website designs
  • Use out-of-the-box solutions to minimize hard coding
  • Format new content and migrate existing content
  • Provide website traffic analytics tools to identify and track website performance and updates/enhancements
  • Test the new internal/intranet website, including unit, systems, and user acceptance testing
  • Draft and finalize documents describing the new internal website’s technical features and configuration
  • Conduct meetings with technical staff to transfer knowledge
  • Troubleshoot user-related SharePoint issues (i.e., permissions, groups, webparts, site creation, etc.)

What You’ll Bring

Basic Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for employment
  • All work must be conducted within the U.S.
  • Must be able to capable of receiving a Public Trust level clearance
  • As a contractor to the federal government, all hires may be required to complete additional background screenings at the time of hire or any time thereafter as requested

1+ years’ experience doing SharePoint Development to include:

  • Expertise building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs
  • Comfort making decisions of how to migrate and architect the existing and new content
  • Experience using SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing and administrating
  • Experience with SharePoint Administration, including SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online
  • Experience developing SharePoint solutions using existing web part configuration, SharePoint designer and workflows
  • Experience with migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online
  • Experience in client interaction and understanding business application, business data flow and migration from SP 2016 to SPO

  • Deep understanding of the fundamental technologies of the web, e.g., HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.

Location: Although this role will be performed remotely, the ideal candidate will be local to the DC metro area.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$80,743.00 - $137,263.00
