About The RoleWe're looking for a passionate and experienced UX Accessibility Specialist to join our growing Product Accessibility and Inclusion team.In this role, you'll be a champion for accessibility, ensuring our digital platform and ecosystem are inclusive and usable for everyone.You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to integrate accessibility best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.What You'll DoBe the Accessibility Expert: Provide guidance and expertise on accessibility standards, guidelines, and best practices (WCAG 2.2 and beyond) to product, design, and engineering teams (iOS, client, and Web).Champion Inclusive Design: Advocate for the needs of users with disabilities, collaborating with them directly to understand their experiences and identify opportunities to remove barriers.Conduct Accessibility Evaluations: Perform audits and usability testing with assistive technologies to identify accessibility issues and ensure our products meet the highest standards of usability.Empower the Team: Coach and mentor UX/UI designers, content strategists, and engineers on accessibility principles and inclusive design practices.Drive Accessibility Innovation: Research and implement innovative solutions to accessibility challenges, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.Shape the Future of Accessibility: Contribute to the development and evolution of our accessibility guidelines, best practices, and design system components.What You'll Bring5+ years of experience in UX design or UX research, with a strong focus on accessibility.Deep understanding of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards and guidelines.Proven experience in conducting accessibility audits and usability testing with people with disabilities.Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.Passion for creating inclusive and user-centered designs.Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, voice control).Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and techniques.Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA provides an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or express, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability status, political affiliation, genetics, marital status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
