About The Position
  • Develop, configure, expand, and maintain all Identity and Access Management related applications
  • Share knowledge on key principles of (IAM) with knowledge in the areas of authentication and authorization systems, identity lifecycle management, and identity governance
  • Incorporate compliance requirements into systems, processes and documentation
Key responsibilities include:
Solution Configuration
  • Configure software programs based on business requests and/or requirements (i.e., Add new integrations following standard patterns)
  • Support the analysis, design, coding, testing, configuration and modification of Solution projects and/or, products or enhancements using various programming languages, technologies and development methodologies
  • Supporting role on upgrades, product fixes/patches, new integrations
Minor Software Development/scripting
  • Develop and/or script to build connections to or gather information from systems
  • Add features, modify user interfaces, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate security access and protection, in compliance with existing security policies and best practices
  • Awareness of and adherence to all compliance/regulatory frameworks (i.e., SOX, NERC, etc.)
  • This role will also liaison with other digital teams and may be a technical contact for vendor relationships
Solution Support/Incident Management
  • Work with team members to manage, maintain, and monitor IAM application environment and tools, ensuring the systems stay current and are running efficiently, including applying appropriate tuning and updates as necessary
  • Second Tier support - Assist the Service Desk with escalated incidents, assist P1 team members to develop their support skills
  • Contribute to troubleshooting/diagnosis of issues around the IAM tools
  • Work with P3/P4 Senior Engineers to develop skills and expertise in the tools that are supported
Security & Compliance
  • Familiar with security and compliance and compliance requirements pertaining to supported applications
  • Continue to become familiar with security and compliance requirements as they pertain to the suite of applications supported by the team
  • Code and configure applications to meet NERC CIP requirements, Ameren Identity Policies and other security and compliance requirements
Knowledge Management
  • Documentation – create user documentation, service desk, any development/coding/scripts, support documentation
  • Complete technical documentation for testing, QA, training, troubleshooting, operating, and/or procedures for installation and maintenance
Vendor Engagement
  • Provide limited process / technology support to vendors to support their understanding of Ameren landscape
  • Provide SME skills (either process, or technical) in one or more IAM areas to aid in limited direction of vendor consultants
  • Participate in Ameren/Vendor design and project meetings
  • Targeted vendor project responsibility around one or two key focus areas
  • Primary vendor engagement role – TACTICAL PARTNER
Co-worker Development
  • Coach less experienced co-workers and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance
  • Mentor less experienced co-workers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering, mathematics, computer science or business
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Will consider candidates without a degree if they show/demonstrate having 2+ additional years of equivalent, relevant experience in tools, systems and initiatives leveraged by Ameren
