The Backend Framework & DevTools team provides framework, workflow, integration, data management, and some tooling solutions using world-leading technologies and standards in IFS Applications. The software engineering R&D team ensures we deliver the intended value on time with the right quality, resulting in great customer adoption and high customer satisfaction.

We are in the process of looking for a talented Quality Assurance Lead who is passionate about the software quality of large enterprise applications and finding creative solutions to automate complex test scenarios. We are practicing ultra-modern testing approaches that enable shift-left transformation while following the concept of the Test Pyramid. Candidates are expected to have a good knowledge of the software development life cycle and get excited by the opportunity to learn and grow.

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you are expected to:

• Review requirements & specifications.
• Ensure the quality of software components delivered.
• Write test cases, review test cases, create test strategies & plans, and execution of them.
• Guide developers to improve unit tests and integration tests.
• Quality process compliance with shift left quality principles.  
• Engage with requirement owners and liaise with internal stakeholders.
• Create automated tests for functional and non-functional testing.
• Take the lead on Quality assurance tasks within teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing manual and automated testing solutions.
• 2+ years of experience in full-time test automation (experience in Playwright,/ Katalon, and Apache JMeter is preferred).
• Proven ability to work with enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong grasp of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different technologies/work environments.
• Hands-on experience in using Test Management tools like JIRA.
• Experience in using CI/CD tools would be an added advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
