Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Technology Director to join our Marketing Operations team, to lead our Martech initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on expertise to transform, streamline and scale up IFS’ marketing technology capabilities, while working with multiple key stakeholders within and outside the business.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive MarTech strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, management, and optimization of marketing technologies such as CRM, CDP, and automation platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MarTech solutions with other business systems.
  • Drive innovation by staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the MarTech space.
  • Lead a small team of marketing technologists (direct and indirect), providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance standards are met within all MarTech initiatives and are managed in a timely manner
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of MarTech solutions, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Be prepared to challenge and be challenged over existing processes to enable the marketing organisation to grow
  • Ensure documentation and enablement is produced for all aspects of the MarTech stack, in collaboration with stakeholders

This is a hybrid role; the candidate will need to have a willingness and ability to come to Staines to collaborate and socialise with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or related degree.
  • 10+ years’ experience in managing marketing technology in a B2B technology company
  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end development technologies
  • Proven experience in scaling up marketing technology platforms and leading MarTech projects from inception to completion in a timely manner
  • Strong technical acumen with hands-on experience in implementing and managing platforms such as Marketo, Demandbase, Outreach and a variety of CRMs.
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI and how it can be leveraged in Marketing Technology and processes
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards relevant to marketing technology.
