Site reliability engineer

This role will be onsite in Sunnyvale, CA HQ five days a week.As an SRE / DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Azure, as well as supporting our multi-cloud environment with AWS and / or GCP.You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate and streamline our CI / CD pipelines, enhance system reliability and scalability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate will have a passion for cloud technology, automation, and collaboration, along with a solid foundation in Azure cloud platform and related DevOps practices.About the Team :Our Engineering team has established a culture based on thought leadership, independence, and responsibility. If you are passionate about cloud technology, automation, and collaboration, and have a strong foundation in Azure with exposure to AWS and / or GCP, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now to be a part of our talented team!Key Responsibilities :Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure, AWS, and / or GCP to support our applications and servicesImplement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration managementDevelop and maintain CI / CD pipelines for automated software delivery and deployment, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, or JenkinsMonitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure metrics using cloud monitoring and logging services, and implement proactive measures to optimize performance and availabilitySupport incident response and resolution efforts, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and documenting post-incident reviewsCollaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and reliable architectures, providing guidance on best practices for cloud-native application developmentImplement security best practices and controls in cloud environments to protect data, applications, and infrastructure, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsDrive automation initiatives to streamline operational tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve overall efficiency in cloud operationsStay current with cloud platform updates, trends, and best practices, and evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption to drive innovation and efficiencyProvide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the SRE / DevOps teamExperience :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience2-3 years of experience working as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, with hands-on experience in Azure cloud platformExposure to AWS and / or GCP cloud platforms is preferredProficiency in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Go for automation and infrastructure management tasksExperience with CI / CD tools and methodologies, containerization technologies, and microservices architecture in cloud environmentsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsAzure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, or AWS / GCP certifications are a plusAbout Illumio :Illumio, the pioneer and market leader of Zero Trust segmentation, prevents breaches from becoming cyber disasters.
