Are you passionate about leading operations in the food industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as the Director of Operations at a well-respected commercial bakery located in College Station, Texas. In this role, you’ll take the helm of a dynamic team ensuring that our production, machinery maintenance, safety, and supply chain operations run smoothly. This position is a critical one, as you’ll be preparing the annual production budget while guaranteeing employee safety and maintaining the highest standards of food quality. If you enjoy enhancing efficiency, you’ll thrive on implementing lean manufacturing techniques and improving cost savings. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in planning for strategic capital investments and introducing new products. To excel in this position, a four-year degree in Engineering or Food Science is preferred, along with at least ten years of experience in food manufacturing, including three years in a plant manager role. A strong background in safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, SQF, and AIB is essential, especially if you bring commercial bakery experience to the table.
