Job Description

You will be responsible for guiding and managing leaders in a commercial baking operation. Your direct reports include production, machinery maintenance, safety, and supply chain.

This job is about 100 miles away from Houston.

  • Prepare and adhere to the annual production budget
  • Ensure employee safety, food safety, and high product quality.
  • Improve cost savings through lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Plan for strategic capital investments, maintenance, new product introductions.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a four year degree, Engineering or Food Science is preferred.
  • Must have at least ten years’ experience, with at least three years in a plant manager role.
  • Strong background in HACCP; safety; GMP; SQF and AIB
  • Food manufacturing background is a must. Strong preference for someone with commercial bakery experience.
