Overview:
SRI's Center for Advanced Imaging is searching for an Imager Test Technician to join our team.
Based in Princeton, NJ, the candidate would join a multidisciplinary group dedicated to the development of custom image sensor devices, focal planes, and systems for numerous commercial, space, and government applications.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be able to multitask efficiently to perform a range of tasks. Responsibilities would primarily include executing wafer probe screening tests, and executing product acceptance tests once taught the testing protocol and being trained on the test equipment. Additionally, the candidate will perform production support tasks in handling subassembly part logistics and packing and shipping of product assemblies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in handling sensitive electronics assemblies and be capable of understanding test configurations and operating test equipment.

Handle silicon wafers and execute wafer probe screen tests

Perform electrical and Electro-Optic test of image sensors and final assemblies.

Execute test procedures and document results.

Configure laboratory equipment for various purposes.

Support production effort logistics
Qualifications:
- College or Associate degree in technical discipline. In lieu of degree, 1-2 years experience with operating semiconductor wafer probe and laboratory equipment, or work experience in production test environment

Must be able to multitask efficiently

Able to quickly learn new concepts and tasks.

Must have strong PC skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel and Word primarily).

Must be familiar with common test equipment such as power supplies, voltmeters

Knowledge of semiconductor wafer probers a plus

Ability to lift 5-10lbs

Good written and verbal communication skills
The salary range is: $47880.00-$59625.00. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
