Imaging Support Specialist

Summertime Positions Available. If you are a college student who is home for the summer looking for work or someone who would like to explore work in the healthcare industry, this job is for you. This position will work nights in our radiology department supporting the conversion of certain systems. Weekday and weekend work is available.

This position performs a wide range of secretarial duties. Duties include accurate and timely scanning of reports to appropriate studies in PACS. Prints 3 years of reports from systems and send prior studies to the Radiologists. Monitor the unreported list in PACS to make sure all studies have been read.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent X Required

X College courses in Business and other related areas X Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience
Must have computer proficiency.
