Senior Technical Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for seeking out new ideas, has an eye for what’s next in the industry, and thrives on selling ideas to both internal and external teams. Will be the champion of new categories for the company from concept to launch, utilizing our Stage Gate process to gain insight and buy-in along the way. Should be a self-starter but also comfortable collaborating with a cross functional team of engineers, designers and sales staff.RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Planning:• Seek out new ideas and businesses for the company, including gathering ideas across the company and fostering a culture of innovation• Work with Market Research team to uncover unmet consumer needs and translate those insights into winning concepts• Evaluate ideas through our category funnel to determine sales and financial fit with the organization and champion those ideas through launchProduct Management:• Work with design and engineering to develop product specifications• Work with finance team to ensure profitability goals for the product line are aligned with company metrics• Fully understand product line P&L and discuss adjustments to be made throughout the year to maintain both sales and profit goalsCollaboration:• Act as product and brand champion for assigned product lines, working with digital marketing, graphic design, and industrial design to maintain brand standards and update as needed• Work cross functionally with customer marketing and sales teams to monitor sales, provide insights and action to constantly pursue improvement in assigned product lineQUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree• 3-5 years business or marketing experience• Experience working in a channel or product marketing role• Experience in Stage Gate and/or product innovation preferred but not requiredCompany: Liberty HardwareShift 1 (United States of America)Full timeHiring Range: $62,300.00 - $97,900.00Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.Liberty Hardware (the “Company”) is an equal opportunity employer and we want to have the best available persons in every job.
