Patent Associate

Impinj is seeking a Patent Associate to join our world-leading RAIN RFID intellectual property team. The Patent Associate will work with the Principal Patent Agent to expand the patent portfolio and assist with patent and IP-related legal matters.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent
Excellent writing and communication skills
Previous work experience in patents and intellectual property

Responsibilities

Assist in leading the Company's patenting program
Prepare invention disclosures and patent applications
Coordinate with outside patent counsel on prosecuting patent applications
Maintain internal patent docket and portfolio
Develop and maintain processes for tracking patent-related matters

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or related field
