Software Engineer Intern, Full Stack

The Role

We’re seeking a motivated Full Stack Intern to join our Summer 2025 Internship program. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience developing and enhancing applications using modern technologies, including React. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll help build and optimize innovative solutions that power our cutting-edge payment platform.

Location

This role will be a hybrid work format, with time split between working remotely and working onsite from our New York HQ, 2-3 days a week as required by your manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Front-End Development: Build intuitive user interfaces using React to deliver seamless customer experiences.

  • Back-End Development: Assist in developing and maintaining APIs and services to support front-end functionality.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to design, implement, and test features end-to-end.

  • Debug and Optimize: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure applications run efficiently and reliably.

  • Learn and Grow: Contribute to improving code quality and development practices while gaining exposure to a full-stack environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Incoming Juniors or Seniors graduating in 2025-2026.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience or coursework in full-stack development, including React and related technologies.

  • A solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one back-end language (Node.js preferred).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern development tools.

  • A passion for learning and building scalable web applications.
